SCIENTISTS DISCOVER KAREN GENE!

A Livid Karen

Last week German scientists discovered the “Karen” gene. A Karen is someone who feels entitled. Karens demand things that are beyond normal expectations. Karens are usually middle-aged Caucasian women with short hair who feel privileged. Karens are super annoying in public and display antisocial behavior. They demand that they have everything their way. Karens can be found demanding to speak to the manager in stores.

Scientists have long wanted to know the origins of the Karen gene. One theory has always been that it evolved from a logistics phenomenon for people who have unreasonable expectations. These Karens will not hesitate to use their privilege at the expense of others.

Comedians like Jamie Kennedy have used Karens in their comedy acts to express disdain for Karens. Jamie Kennedy points out, “Karens feel the need to complain right away without a value in any situation. They are selfish and entitled while they demean others. They write excessively on their Facebook page.”

Most of the time, a Karen is a woman, but gender is sometimes not an issue. The media was quick to label billionaire Elon Musk a “Space Karen” over his comments regarding the quarantine.

A gene is an area of DNA that encodes its function. A chromosome consists of a strand of DNA containing genes. The chromosomes can have more than 5 million pairs of DNA genes and evolve overtime during natural selection.

Dr. Otto Von Braun from the German Gene Therapy Research Institute stated, “Genes acquire mutations in their sequences. Different variations of these proteins cause these traits. Inside these proteins is where we find the Karen gene. There are good genes and bad genes. I would categorize the Karen gene as a bad gene.”

There have been many protests usually lead by Karens who do not want to wear masks and are upset that they can’t go to hair salons.

Last May, a Karen called the police when she saw a man birdwatching in Central Park. Karen was convinced that the man was a criminal and did not belong in her park.

A Karen from San Diego was upset when a barista refused to serve her a latte because she was not wearing a mask. She furiously posted on social media that she was planning to sue for all the donations that the barista received after the viral post.

A New Jersey Karen screamed at police for pulling over her son during a traffic stop. Karen’s son did not have insurance or registration, and his vehicle was impounded. That didn’t stop Karen from telling everyone involved that she knew the mayor and everyone would be fired.

Scientists are now looking for a vaccine to treat the Karen gene. The vaccine will be next in line after the Covid-19 vaccine. There is no cure for the Karen gene. All that can be done is long hours of psychiatric therapy and multiple medications.

Lawmakers are trying to introduce legislation to fight the Karen epidemic. In California, State Assembly Member Rob Bonta introduced a bill that would classify all Karen 911 calls as hate crimes. A Karen making a call could be fined up to $10,000. The city of San Francisco has already passed a law to prohibit the fabrication of Karen 911 calls. Social Justice warriors warn this could open the flood gates to Karen lawsuits.
